SCHOLARSHIP AND AWARD INFORMATION

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering offers scholarships, and awards to undergraduate students enrolled at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

There are approximately 70 scholarships and awards, totaling about $100,000, given each year to undergraduates in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Applications for undergraduate awards and scholarships are accepted late in the fall semester. Specific information on the application process is made available to students currently enrolled in our program by email and notices on the undergraduate blog. Notices are also posted throughout the Newmark Civil Engineering Laboratory. The scholarship process is competitive; students are evaluated based on academic merit, student activities and leadership, among other things. There are a few scholarships for which financial need is considered.
