You may apply for admission on-line or you may download an application form, at the University's website. You may also request that an application form and/or an information packet, containing the same material found on these web pages, be sent to you by mail. Read paragraph A below for information about on-line application and download. Paragraph B provides instructions on ordering material to be sent to you by mail.

A. We strongly encourage the use of the on-line application system. On-line application has the advantage that you can pay by credit card (MasterCard or Visa), and that your application material is available to the Department immediately after your credit card has been processed If you wish to apply for admission on-line, or to download an application form, click at the end of this paragraph to go to the University's download site.  Note that the University's site suggests that you should contact the department before mailing your application, since some departments require additional information.  For admission to the Environmental Engineering and Science program, only the application form (with letters of recommendation and processing payment), GRE scores, and TOEFL scores (for applicants from institutions where the language of instruction is not English) are required.  It is not necessary to contact the department for further information.  To apply on line or to download an application form, click here.

B. You may receive a packet of information materials for the Graduate Program in Environmental Engineering and Science and/or an application form by mail. Note that everything in the mail information packet is available on this site, and you can apply for admission on-line (or download an application form) as described in the paragraph above. If for some reason you wish to receive information material and/or application by mail, please fill in the following form and click on "Send it" when finished. Because the application form is different for U.S. citizens and non-citizens, please indicate which you should receive.
