Testing Capabilities |

The Newmark Structural Engineering Laboratory (NSEL) has the equipment and resources necessary to perform a wide array of tests. The lab is capable of performing:
- Cyclic testing of materials
- Fracture tests
- Large scale (or full size) structural tests of steel composites and concrete assemblies
- Monotonic tests, which include
- Tension tests
- Compression tests
- Bearing tests
- Bi-axial tests
- Special design tests (i.e.
any tests which require computer/manual control using transducers attached to a specimen)
- Seismic Simulation
