Problem Description:

FEM analysis is performed for a cube which was subjected to two point force at top surface, and four edges of bottom surface are constrained. The geometry, loading and boundary conditions are all symmetric, and two cases of material property --homogeneous and FGM (Functionally Graded Material), are investigated. Displacement is retrieved as well as stress, after some postprocessing, the stress, displacement inside the cube are displayed with isosurface and hyperstreamline techniques. It can be observed clearly that in homogenous case results are symmetric in x-y plane, but for FGM it is not.
