Concentric Marketing and Search Associates is searching for a recent graduate to fill a position in Schaumburg, IL as a Catastrophe Modeling Analyst. This person will be responsible for assisting the modeling supervisor in catastrophe risk management activities by preparing and maintaining data for natural catastrophe modeling, importing and analyzing data with modeling software, maintaining a knowledge base of model differences, and other duties. Grand Challenge Learning 210 is a campus wide course aimed at students of all years and involves team teaching. Students from differet disciplines will approach issues of sustainability in different ways. The course presents an interdisciplinary introduction to the study of sustainability, energy and the environment.

WBK Engineering will be offering a summer job shadow session for recent high school graduates and current college students who are interested in a career in engineering, planning or resource management. The job shadow will be held in the St. Charles office at 116 West Main Street, Suite 201, St. Charles, Illinois, 60174 from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, July 26, 2017. Students will meet with professionals in the areas of transportation (civil) and structural engineering, planning, and resource management and will have an opportunity for a field visit to a current project site.
