Registration for CEE Online Fall 2016 courses is now open. CEE Online offers students the opportunity to earn a Master of Science (M.S.) degree, receive a certificate in a specialized area, or earn professional development hours completely online.

The Fall 2016 course line-up includes 24 classes, with new classes such as Construction Law, Post-tensioned Concrete Structures, and several Environmental Engineering choices joining previously established courses. The full list of classes can be viewed here. Online students receive access to recorded on-campus lectures and follow the class syllabus, including the same assignments, exams and projects as on-campus students.

Registration for non-degree students must be completed by August 15, 2016, and the first day of courses is August 22, 2016. Applications for Spring 2017 degree program admission will be accepted until November 1, 2016.

The CEE Online program was established by the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2011. The non-thesis M.S. degree in Civil Engineering requires 36 credit hours and must be completed within 5 years. Students are able to take online classes even if they have not applied to the M.S. degree program. For more information about CEE Online, contact Meg Griffin at mgriffin@illinois.edu.
